Polythene sheeting sometimes referred to as plastic sheeting or polyethylene is a waterproof plastic film manufactured using petroleum. It is generally supplied in rolls for a variety of applications such as a protective membrane or as a temporary protection material. Many types of polythene are highly reusable, usually dependant on their density and quality – but importantly polythene is completely recyclable at end-of-life. Polythene is a highly versatile product, especially when it comes to being used as a protective material. The use of polythene sheeting varies generally based on its thickness, which is usually measured in gauge or micron (mu). Polythene sheeting is often used as a temporary floor cover, as polythene screening materials in dust protection as well as surface protection. We offer a clear and black film in two thicknesses and four roll lengths to suit multiple applications, a variety of colours transparent (clear) and black are most commonly used. We are a specialist in this field and can offer all kinds of grades including flame retardent and many different colours, depending on quantity.
