Calibration Certificate

The Calibration Certificate can only be ordered with the QAELP/QPT/QPTS. It provides information about the machine’s performance and accuracy. Generally, it’s a requirement of any company with ISO Quality systems in place where a record of the scale’s calibration needs to be kept by the user.

Please note: we can not issue calibration certificates to scales previously supplied that did not include a certificate in the order. These certificates do not make the scale or balance Trade Approved.

What is a calibration certificate?

A calibration certificate is a statement of the results of a calibration. It also contains information about the laboratory which carried out the calibration, and about the calibration method used.

For ISO 17025 accredited calibrations, the form of the calibration certificate is standardised, meaning that regardless of the type of instrument being calibrated, or the laboratory performing the calibration, the resultant certificate will be in a widely recognisable format.
